Pratap Reddy, MD

Dr. Pratap Reddy specializes in Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine. He graduated from a prestigious medical school in Bangalore, India in 2005. He then completed Internal Medicine residency at Kings Brook Jewish Medical center in Brooklyn, New York. He worked as a hospitalist at Reading Hospital where he developed interest in sleep medicine and went on to a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Reading Hospital.

Dr. Reddy is a member of the American Association of Sleep Medicine and the American College of Physicians. He serves as Associate Program Director for the Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program at Reading Hospital. He has published case reports in peer-reviewed journals and has presented posters in national meetings.

Dr. Reddy is thorough in clinical assessment and believes that proper diagnosis is essential in appropriately treating each sleep disorder and improving a patient's lifestyle. He has special interests in the treatment of sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy and other disorders of daytime sleepiness, parasomnias, restless leg syndrome and circadian rhythm disorders. He is also trained to provide cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia. His research interest includes "sleep disordered breathing".
