Pallak Agarwal, MD
Dr. Agarwal specializes in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. She grew up in India and graduated from Lady Hardinge Medical College, a prestigious all-girls medical school in New Delhi, India. After obtaining her medical degree in 2011, she came to the United States, where she completed an Internal Medicine residency at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. After completion of her residency, she worked as a teaching hospitalist at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where she instructed medical students and residents. She went on to a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She was selected and served as Chief Fellow in her third year.
Dr. Agarwal is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the American College of Chest Physicians. She has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented several abstracts and posters at national meetings.
Dr. Agarwal has special interests in the treatment of asthma, COPD, pulmonary hypertension, and interstitial lung disease. She is trained to perform endobronchial ultrasound and navigational bronchoscopy.
