Dosik Kim, MD, FCCP
Born in Seoul, Korea, Dr. Dosik Kim received his undergraduate degree from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea and Lafayette College, Easton, PA. Dr. Kim received his medical education at Yonsei University, served an internship at ASAN Medical Center in Seoul, Korea, Internal Medicine residency program at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, IN, completed his Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship with Sleep Training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI.
Dr. Kim has been a recipient of numerous honors and awards during his education including Resident Research Award, St. Vincent Hospital and placed in the 2000 ACP-ASIM Indiana Scientific Assembly Abstract Competition. Dr. Kim is also a member of the American Thoracic Society, and the American College of Chest Physicians. He is also a member of the Berks County Medical Society, Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Kim is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care medicine.
Dr. Kim is an active member of the medical staff at St. Joseph's Medical Center and the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He is also a consultant at the HealthSouth Reading Rehabilitation Hospital in Reading, PA.
Dr. Kim is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the Society of Critical Care Medicine and has several clinical and basic science research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
