Dina Khateeb, DO
Dr. Khateeb received her undergraduate degree from Cedar Crest College, Allentown, Pennsylvania and her medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Lewisburg, West Virginia. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Newark, New Jersey where she also served as Chief Resident. She competed her Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Khateeb then went on to continue her fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, NY. Dr. Khateeb is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine and board eligible in Hospice & Palliative Medicine.
Dr. Khateeb is an active member on the medical staff at Tower Health - Reading Hospital and Penn State Health - St. Joseph Medical Center. Dr. Khateeb has special interests in the treatment of occupational and smoking related lung disease, interstitial lung diseases, lung cancer screening and diagnosis, and advance care planning for patients with lung disease.
Dr. Khateeb is a member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, and Society of Critical Care Medicine. She has published articles in peer-reviewed journals, and has presented abstracts and lectures at national and international meetings. She has received awards and recognition for her clinical work and community service endeavors.
